Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 cup dairy free milk
  • (Optional) chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl
    1. flour (1 cup)
    2. baking powder (2 tablespoons)
    3. salt (1 teaspoon)
  2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients
  3. Add wet ingredients into the well
    1. oil (2 tablespoons)
    2. agave nectar (1 tablespoon)
    3. dairy free milk (1 cup)
  4. Carefully combine wet and dry ingredients, making sure to get flour from the sides of the bowl without over mixing
  5. Place frying pan on range and heat over low heat
  6. Pour small dollop of batter into spots on the frying pan and cook for 5 minutes, flipping half way through when bubbles form
  7. Repeat with remaining batter
